[PHREAKNET-8] Setup a Patreon to cover expenses
The idea of a Patreon has been floated a couple times.
Supposedly with Patreon you have to give something to get something, so the monthly statement qualifies as that in this case.
Patreon: For $2 a month, get your monthly statement mailed to you? 1 free mailed telegram to you (or somebody else) per month? (via USPS first class mail, of course!!!)
Perhaps increasing increments thereof as well.
The idea of the monthly statement provides some novelty value so could be interesting, however we have to ensure Patreon income is not just going out the door again.
Therefore, maybe $4 a month for a monthly statement makes more sense (and a few bucks more for the mailed telegram). Our expenses are relatively low for using Patreon, so this provides a good balance of funding that can be used for expenses and paying the expenses for the "product" that supporters receiver.
