server_setup.sh already makes a lot of assumptions in setting up a default system, so it's perfectly okay to autocreate all the default directories used in the sample configs.

For example, this should include the default maildir, as that would have prevented this issue: https://github.com/InterLinked1/lbbs/issues/30
