Details

• Don't attempt to back up directories specified in config files which don't exist? Or maybe continue to do so, so we throw the error. Ignore commented directories
• redirect stdout (but not stderr) to /dev/null for tar executions to avoid the "Removing leading..." messages, to keep output empty unless something goes wrong

Directory does not exist: /var/lib/lbbs/templates
Directory does not exist: /home/bbs/newsgroups
tar: Removing leading `/' from member names
tar: Removing leading `/' from hard link targets
