Some folks have expressed interest in a PhreakNet forum platform for the community.
The main blocker at this point is setting up the proper custom SSO integration, since InterLinked SSO is not a standard SAML endpoint (read: this will require a "hack")
SSO is highly desired since most of the common open source PHP forum platforms all get spam quite easily. This will also improve the user UX since one less account is required.
That said, we will probably go with theme https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?theme=2704 or https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?theme=2996
However, SMF doesn't have any obvious SSO mechanism while phpBB may.
